HUH?!?
At night the large bookcase opens and at the back the books come to life. The questions posed by the books are followed by new questions. Until a tablet appears…
The bookcase is home to a bunch of curious books that live according to their own rules and routines. They like to find answers to wonderful questions. The red book turns it into problems, the blue book experiments and the green book delves into other books looking for answers. Every answered question creates new questions.
It is a peaceful and cheerful existence.
Until a newcomer appears on the bookshelf – an electronic, fully automatic and fully charged tablet that has all the answers ready without any doubts or questions.
Very handy… right?
"...it doesn't matter what language you speak, it's fun for everyone."
Science theatre.
This puppet theater performance tries to make the audience aware of the importance of asking questions and investigating these questions in a surprising, humorous and interactive way. We want the audience to think about where answers come from and that answers will give you new questions.
Huh? is the universal word for when you don't understand something. There is no spoken language in the theater performance, but compelling music and puppetry are used.

Comments
"This is such a fantastically beautiful show! So beautifully made, so funny and enchanting. And it doesn't matter what language you speak, it's equally fun for everyone."
"The premiere of HUH?!? took place during the Zoek Het Uit! Festival of the University Museum Utrecht. I look back very fondly on both the pleasant collaboration with the team of Sjors and Ruud in the run-up to the festival and the execution of the performances in our Oude Hortus festival tent. The music, the storyline, the theme, the questions, the workshop, beautiful."
" The children were captivated throughout the entire performance of 'HUH?!?'. A story is told with beautiful theatrical means in which the choice between assertiveness or continuing to ask questions is central. The workshop afterwards was a hit with the children and fitted well within the theme. "
"It's great to see that you can create an exciting, captivating performance without language and an abundance of light and sound."
HUH?!? is an auditory and visual fairytale that highlights the importance of asking questions in a unique way, without using language.
